I have myself and seen many people struggling with options and priorities while buying a car, so here is what I would suggest:
1. Budget: Narrow down on a range of budget with a maximum cap on the amount you want to she'll out.
2. Safety Rating: Out of all cars that fall under that budget, look for safety rating.
(If safety rating does not exist, look for cars of the same brand, that should give you a fair idea)
3. Type of vehicle and ground clearance: Very important for the kind of city you live in and your usage. For e.g. You would want a 4x4 thar for off-roading adventures, but a kushaq would be good enough to take to the office through Gurgaon potholes.
4. Cost of ownership: Consider service packages, Warranty and Real life mileage of the cars for 5 years.
5. Features: Sunroof, Apple car play/Android Auto. Etc.
6. Color options available
Congratulations you have found your perfect match!!
P.S. This is not a mere rating exercise, this helps u in eliminating options.
For e.g. a 0 star safety rated car is out of contention irrespective of its remaining features. Also, if your budget does not allow you to go for a new car with a decent safety rating, time to go browse the second hand market.
Once you have bought the car, you just need to enjoy the ride, leave the rest to MOTOR MARKET-where quality meets comfort.
